Channel Characters & MLM Myth Busting Video

Working with Studio Pi, we embarked on a journey to dispel the myths surrounding joining our channel as an Independent Consultant through an engaging animated video, brought to life by five characters bespoke to the channel.

Drawing upon the essence of The Body Shop, we infused our brand values into every aspect of the project. From our deep-rooted commitment to fair trade partnerships to our unwavering dedication to activism and inclusivity, these principles were instilled in end-to-end creation. I worked closely with the agency, ensuring that each character authentically represented our global community, and that the individuals commissioned did so too. Additionally I curated the casting, scripting, and art direction, working with voiceover artists to bring the video to life.

With a keen eye on diversity and representation, each character was meticulously crafted to resonate with various demographics, serving as powerful messengers across the direct selling channel. A toolkit and guidelines were created to support markets with implementing the characters into existing and new materials to ensure global comms consistency.

This project not only showcases our brand's ethos but also underscores our commitment - and Anita Roddick's vision - of empowering individuals to be entrepreneurs, change-makers and fostering a sense of belonging and inclusion within our community.

 

 

 

Global Opportunity Campaign

Partnering with Spring Studios, this campaign serves as a powerful homage to Anita Roddick's enduring legacy, championing a business model that empowers beauty enthusiasts to carve out their own path to success by promoting The Body Shop's ethical, vegan skincare products. In our flagship campaign video, several of our trailblazing Independent Consultants share their transformative journeys with the brand, illuminating the profound sense of belonging within our global community.

Taking the helm of project and production management, as well as providing art direction and casting expertise, I ensured that every element of the campaign resonated with authenticity and purpose. The content from this campaign served as both a recruitment tool internally on web & social media, as well as by our global collective of Independent Consultants.
